In 2021 during one of several lawsuits stemming from the ZBA (then under chair Jack Dearborn) violating the law, “right to know” requests were filed.
Jack Dearborn knew that these emails should show that he had held a secret meeting and had used town resources to help one side of a two-party dispute … so illegally created a “classification system” to hide the evidence – public information.
He “classified” town emails – public documents – as

- Attoney Client Priviledge
- Need to Knowf
This is a felony (see below).
